An accomplished leader, influential communicator/presenter and exceptional coach, Chaney has a proven history of expertise in developing meaningful training programs in team development and practice management for world-class organizations in both the public and non-profit sectors.
Chaney has two decades of proven results in the financial, sales, consulting and coaching industries. Her journey in the financial industry began at a Fortune 500 company where she was an advisor and quickly built a successful practice through relationship marketing. Her success led corporate leaders to place her in roles with increasing responsibility and scope throughout her tenure with the firm. Desiring to explore the entrepreneurial aspects of these industries, Chaney joined the CEG Worldwide coaching team in 2013. Her impact and success within CEG resulted in an appointment to hold a principal role as Director of Coaching.
Chaney’s keen ability to identify the obstacles that impede success has enabled her to coach thousands of advisors to achieve exponential growth in their businesses. She has a strong business acumen and her skill set extends beyond the coaching platform to consulting with firms to achieve success in practice management, team and leadership development. She is a prolific speaker on personal growth and travels nationally presenting at leadership and development conferences and forums.
Chaney holds a Bachelor of Science in business administration from Drexel University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She received her Coach Certification in 2009 from Erickson College in Vancouver, Canada and Master Coach Certification in 2012. She is also an Accredited Certified Coach with the ICF. Valerie recently expanded her certifications to include Executive and Transition coaching.
She continues to serve in the non-profit arena and holds numerous board positions in organizations along the East Coast.
